And I'm back!

I want to get back to blogging. Well, actually, I want to get back to doing a lot of things I used to do. For instance, my hair . . .

We moved into our new house a month and half ago. It's perfect. We love it. It is still very exciting. The kids seem to be well adjusted now. Libby hasn't asked to go home in reference to her grandparents' in a long time, so I think we are good. Visiting grandma and grandpa's is very exciting though.

As far as settling the house goes, it's pretty well settled. Our bedroom is still a work in progress, but that's the least of my worries. There are a few bins of odds and ends not housed and lining the walls in there, but other than that it's just us not picking up our messes. :)

One way I know I'm feeling settled is by the urge to be crafting again. I didn't want to when I had lots to do in the house, but now that life is back in a rhythm I NEED to sew. I've been doing a few other crafty things, but nothing big and messy and serious.

I also am feeling the need to have company. More specifically a game night. I love games.

So yeah . . . obviously I don't really have anything to blog about today. Just saying hi.

Life has been fast paced and hectic lately. Sad things. Happy things. Quite a roller coaster really . . . time is going by sooo quickly. Not just in the grand scheme of things, but really these past two weeks have been so fast. My husband and I can hardly catch our breath.

It's November, so obviously this time of year doesn't slow down. Next weekend is our church Thanksgiving dinner. The week after my hubby gets surgery, and hopefully I can attend our family Thanksgiving. Then work gets busy for Dickens. And then bing bang boom it's Christmas and 2015. Family coming and going.

Then hopefully the never ending winter will be uneventful and I'll have plenty of time to craft, play with the kids, and entertain people. Perhaps a trip to Jersey?

Sigh . . . and now my brain is thinking about all the things I should be doing right now. Like working on my website that I kind of abandoned when life got crazy. Sigh, I'm so behind on it that I don't even want to go there . . . but I must . . . someday. I really truly understand why people hire out for those things, also someday, except probably not.

One last random thought before I put an end to this mess of a post. Facebook . . . ugh it gets me every time. I have a HATE love relationship with it. Time sucker. I'm going to start logging my time spent on it, which I expect will immediately keep me off it more. I love to share funny or inspirational things, I love free advertising, and I love keeping up with life events of friends and family. The rest of it is crap, and I have to stop! I will stop . . . I will also stop browsing Zulily like my life depends on it.

Then, maybe then, I will have time/energy/opportunity to do my hair.

End post.
