Getting Crafty, Apparently

Keep saying I'll post photos of things I make . . . sooo

I know I can do better than this photo . . . but what you're looking at is one of my ruffle burlap runners!
I sold my long ones, and have more in the making. Some in green too!! But the sewing machine is on strike, so won't be selling any more until we get that sorted out. Found this idea on Pinterest! check out the tutorial: Ruffle Burlap Runner

And just in the shop as of yesterday

Cute right? I personally am not into the banner fad, or burlap for that matter. But they are trending!
I bought several fabrics with a mustard color in them too, but after getting them home I didn't think I liked them for banners. I will probably just make regular table runners with them. We'll see. Anyway. Got the idea for the banners on Pinterest too . . . of course. here's how ya do it!
Double Sided Bunting

Don't have any other projects in the making to sell. I haven't gotten very far with Libby's new crib bedding. I had to stop because I didn't get enough fabric for the back side of her quilt. I have the fabric now, but we've (and by we I mostly mean my mother) been so busy going to funerals (making food for them too) and making desserts for the wedding . . . and being sick. I just haven't had the table space with all the baking/cooking going on! That will end soon. We are done baking, I think, and the wedding is next Saturday. Then I have a month to get the nursery in order! Finally have crib #2, but it's not put together. My future brother-in-law passed it on to us, but he didn't have the hardware. So waiting for someone to have the time to run to Lowes to get some!

Next thing on our list though is disinfecting our sick house. Everyone has come down with this nasty head cold/ ear ache. Which mostly sucks for me, because I'm pregnant and can only take Amoxicillin. They all get some z pack of strong antibiotics, and cough suppressant with codeine. Not fair . . .
Well Libby obviously didn't get those things. We have a prescription for amoxicillin for her too, but haven't needed to fill it. It was just a precaution in case she couldn't recover on her own from what was starting to form in her ear. But it's been 5 days since we saw the doctor and I think she is pulling through just fine. Her ears never really bothered her. Just all the mucus! The hubby is on his way to the doctor this afternoon, and my father is trying to hold out for some reason. My sister may be allergic to codeine, because she vomited and had crazy pain last night after taking her meds. Not sure how that turned out . . . should call home. Or maybe I should get back to work . . . :)

Someday I will post pictures of Libby's finished bedding. It's adorable! And maybe even nursery photos! If it is ever in order . . . :) toddlers are like tornadoes . . .
