OVERWHELMED

Okay so this post is coming from a completely exhausted and overwhelmed mind . . . fair warning right?

Leading up to today I've been stressed thinking . . . "what if?" What if this house works out. We will need a table and chairs, and dishes. We gave away our dishes. We don't have silverware. Ugh.

I just wanted to know so my mind could stop doing the "what if" dance. We were hopeful, but knew whatever the outcome all would be well. We have actually been quite content and just chugging along as of late, so the idea of this not working out was no big thing. We just bought a van, and are grateful for that and just focused on paying it off.

Well . . .

We are moving.

The what if has become . . . "Well that's happening."

But the most amazing part of all of it . . . not the beautiful yard. Not the $$$. (okay, well kinda that) . . . but the needs are all taken care of. The house is fully furnished, so anything we didn't have of our own will be left for us to use. INCLUDING DISHES!

Say what?

I even get to use this GORGEOUS gold framed mirror. It's huge, ladies. And beautiful.

I'm floored. I have a huge head ache. It was soooo overwhelming from the moment we walked in the door and saw all the cuteness and how PERFECT it is for us.

It's small, which I happen to love. (Tiny house movement- everything is a movement these days) It is the exact space we would use. No more. No less. Amazing. Did I mention the yard? It's beautiful. And he said he would mow. Okay . . . go for it.

Oh and for security's sake we'll throw in fire and police chief live on the same street. no big deal . . .

My head is spinning.

I remember pining over another house next to the church. Dwelling. Coveting. It was bad. I was a mess. Finally when I let it go and realized that whenever God closes doors it isn't always because another one is opening, but because that door should stay closed. Follow? He says no for a reason. Because "no" is good.

Did you know that? Did you know that when God says "no" and doesn't follow it with "here's this instead" it's because no is good. "Wait. No, that's not good for you, I know best."

We were finally okay with it. Ha . . . I guess that was part of the point, huh?  . . . Trust.

And now here is this cute little house, all needs met. Staaahhhppppp. Just when I think God can do something great, He does something greater.

I have to stop blogging. I have things to do. Libby has laundry all over the place. Truly.
