I don't think people read my blog so I could satisfy my desire to tell everyone by writing my secret here. (Now I know I don't post often and when I do it's hardly worth reading, so I'm not blaming anyone for not reading my blog. I used to be more of a writer, and I used to think I had something to say. Now I just think even if I do have something to say most people won't want to hear it so why bother.)
Disclaimer: if you do read my blog please only comment here on my blog and not on Facebook, because it is kind of a secret. I say kind of, because I have told my family, my closest friends, and my youth group. This means my extended family and all close family friends, my friends' friends and families, and parents of our youth know. So "secret" isn't the best word for it really. It's more like I'm letting it get out at my own discretion. Ya know?
Anyway, I'm pregnant.
AND!
it's a BABY!
My first doctor's appointment is September 15th, which will be the day I change my Facebook status to alert the masses. I would say I'm at least 4 weeks pregnant, which means we are expecting a due date near the end of April! I'm especially happy about the timing of things: 1) because I won't be pregnant over the summer (well aside from getting pregnant), 2) I will keep warmer in the winter, lol, 3) I want a spring baby, and 4) We might still be able to go on our beach vacation in May (this means my family, and Chris Wonsor, would love me even more).
Pregger update: I'm nauseous usually on and off, but most of the day. I'm tired always. My 00p pants already make me uncomfortable mid-day, because well . . . because 00p pants are really small so it doesn't take much ok!! No I'm not showing, silly, I'm just gassy and bloated. I do let that show though. I have no desire to suck it in. So my days look like this: wake up, sleep more, be all happy I'm with child, smile at my husband as we gaze into each other's eyes, get ready for work, force myself to eat breakfast and pack lunch, work 6-9 hours a day (eating animal crackers all day), get home make dinner, sit on couch feeling sick and exhausted, put off work I should be doing. Also I make Sean do things for me already . . . it's funny now. He'll get annoyed by the weekend, and I'll have to get my own water. Until then I'll milk it.
ALSO We found a new place! We think. We viewed it yesterday and the landlord loved us. The sign was not in the yard this afternoon so that's a good thing. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room, living room, basement with w/d, attic, 2nd floor balcony, front and back porch, a little bit of yard space, and a small shed. It's an attached house and there is a couple living next door. He will allow us to have cats, but we haven't talked out the details of that yet. He said it has been pet free previously, but he liked us so . . . :) It's 10 minutes from church and Sean's school. It's 15 minutes from my office, 30 from the schools I'm in, and 40 from his other job. This means we can start a young adult Bible study soon!! YAY!!!
Baby mama needs to go to sleep. I'm beat.
