Okay so it's been over a month since we finished the remodel. Of course by finish I mean almost. There are a few little things here and there that are slowly being crossed off the list. I still haven't taken photos of the finished bedrooms. Libby's is decorated so I should get on that.
However, here are a few more photos of the process . . .
We eventually let Libby motor around while we painted, and she LOVED it.
She was a big help to her grandpa while he wired the lights. :)
Here is the dresser I painted for the babies' room. It was super easy. I quickly sanded it down, wiped it off, and started painting. Sold the knobs at the shop, but have yet to replace them . . .
Tada! Took 3 coats of paint on most of them. I love this dresser, and the nook in their room is the color of the 3rd drawer down. Ish. I believe we bought a light version and then darkened it with left over samples when I changed my mind. The original color we picked was Spanish Rose by Olympic Paints (which we darkened a little before putting on the walls), and we bought 3 other samples of gradient colors from the same card. The fourth drawer down I had to mix to get, because the jump between two of the colors was too drastic. Love it!
All that is left to do now: put thresholds down in doorways, finish ceiling near stairs, build book shelf, and build bathroom shelving. This obviously means I'm way behind in the picture tour. I'll get right on that . . .
